Blog Yahoo nói đã hoàn tất phiên bản Yahoo! Messenger dành cho di động iPhone và máy nghe nhạc iPod Touch của Apple.

Theo thông tin trên blog này, phiên bản Yahoo! Messenger gồm các tính năng chính: gửi tin nhắn tức thì cho phép gửi cả biểu tượng và địa chỉ web (link), chia sẻ ảnh, đăng nhập ẩn (invisible), lưu các bản nội dung chat gần nhất, trạng thái rỗi, ẩn hoặc hiện danh sách liên lạc (contact list).

Thông tin trên blog này khẳng định phiên bản Yahoo! Messenger cho iPhone sẽ cho tải và sử dụng miễn phí trên kho ứng dụng của iTune ( iTunes App Store ). Trong một vài ngày tới, người dùng iPhone có thể tìm kiếm bản Yahoo! Messenger này trên kho ứng dụng iTunes.


Ngoài ứng dụng cho iPhone, Yahoo đã có phiên bản Yahoo! Messenger dành cho các ứng dụng di động khác như Blackberry.
